The Rules

While each case is handled on an individual basis, depending upon the progress of the resident, there are general rules that are followed. Residents will be asked to stay at Serenity Lodge for about two weeks prior to obtaining a job. Employment is essential for the resident who is capable of working. It is time to accept accountability for the behaviors of the past. Once employed, the resident is encouraged to start repaying debts and costs of their addiction and recovery. Serenity Lodge can offer the resident assistance in setting up budgets and developing payment schedules.

Rules are based on responsibility, accountability and respecting each other. Rewards (privileges) are earned according to an individual's compliance and progress.

Residents are responsible for keeping themselves groomed and their rooms clean, and helping perform routine housekeeping chores.
